Please note that the HIS Homeschool Co-op is not affiliated with the Living Water Enrichment program.

HIS HOMESCHOOL CO-OP IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THE SPRING 2010 SESSION!

Hello everyone!

We would first like to thank the Lord for seeing fit in allowing this Co-op to continue for another session. We are excited to see what He has in store for us this Spring. We would also like to thank everyone for their efforts and prayers to make this upcoming session a reality. Thank you for your patience. Though our desire was to have this process finalized some time ago, the Lord had other plans. Smiling

This announcement is chock full of information concerning our upcoming Co-op Session. Please be sure to give it your full attention.

You will find the following information on our website at www.freewebs.com/hishomeschoolcoop:

-Member handbook
-session calendar (note change in Open House date)
-class schedule
-class descriptions

You may click on the following links for the appropriate documentation:

-registration procedure
-registration form
-open volunteer positions list
-teacher list

Concerning our Open House, a separate announcement will be emailed with details.

We also want to point out a few changes to our member handbook. They have been highlighted below. Let us know if you have any questions regarding them.

XIV. Registration Procedures

Registration forms will be processed via mail. Registration packets will be emailed to current members and will include: registration procedures, class schedule and descriptions, open volunteer positions, registration form and member handbook. Registration information will also be posted on the co-op’s website at www.freewebs.com/hishomeschoolcoop.

No new registrations will be received after the 2nd week of a current session.

Beginning with our Spring 2010 session, registration forms for NEW FAMILIES WHOSE OLDEST CHILD IS 4 OR YOUNGER will not be processed until the first week of Co-op. The reason is that our preschool classes are reaching their maximum capacity before our session even begins and we've been forced to turn away families who have older children because we cannot accommodate their younger children. After much prayer and discussion, Co-op leadership has decided that we need to give preference to homeschooling families whose oldest child is in kindergarten or older. If there is still room for families whose oldest child is 4 or younger, we will gladly process their registration form and welcome them to HIS Homeschool Co-op.

Families that fall under this category should still mail in their registration form. You will be notified the Monday before Co-op begins if your family will be able to attend. If you have any questions concerning this new policy, please email Maria at mginion6@gmail.com.

XV. Registration Fees

HIS Homeschool Co-op is designed to be financially accessible to all families. Registration Fees will be used to gain access to the church's facilities and provide scholarships to members who need financial assistance. Student Supply Fees will be used to purchase supplies and curricula for co-op classes.

All fees, including any extra class supply fees, must be paid IN FULL when registering.

A Paypal account has been established to receive Co-op fees, if families so choose to pay in this manner. Details to pay via Paypal will be in the Registration Packet. Cash and checks made out to HIS Homeschool Co-op will also be accepted.

Scholarships are granted based on availability of funds.  Members are encouraged to donate to the scholarship fund.

Financial Assistance: Provision for those who are experiencing financial difficulties has been established. You may make payment arrangements or defer payment until a later date. If you need to set up payment arrangements or request financial assistance, you must contact our Treasurer, Kearicia, at kjorval@yahoo.com PRIOR to mailing your registration form. Otherwise, your registration form CANNOT be processed.

Please continue to pray for HIS Homeschool Co-op. Pray for the Lord to guide and direct each one of us in HIS perfect will!

In HIS Amazing Grace,
Maria Ginion, Patricia Dauth and Kearicia Valiant

Leadership Faith Statement

The Holy Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God. It contains His completed and final revelation to man. We do not endorse or encourage the use of any teaching that conflicts with what is contained in it. The Holy Bible in its original form is without error in its entirety. The Word of God has been and will remain the ultimate authority as we seek His wisdom in representing His group in a way that honors and magnifies the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Mission Statement

Living Water Home Educators is composed of homeschool families in Burlington County, NJ and surrounding areas who come together to support one another. Each family that homeschools is an independent, private school that has the freedom to install the beliefs and values that we, the parents, feel are most important to our children. Since this group is not affiliated with any one particular church, we feel it is important for you to know where the leadership of this group stands so that you can feel comfortable participating in the activities and events we offer.

Activities Disclaimer

Please be advised that any activities that are advertised in the Living Water Weekly eNews or website may not necessarily be activities that conform to Living Water's Faith Statement (see above). Members should not make any assumptions about the teachings or content that may be provided at these activities and should exercise due diligence before deciding to participate. These include activities that are considered as "outside interest" as well as those activities (including field trips) that are organized exclusively for Living Water members.
