Living Water Enrichment is Planning Classes for 2011-2012

Living Water Enrichment (LWE) is now planning classes for next year (2011-2012).  If you have a class you would like to teach, please send the following information to Brook Gall at rivergirl72@comcast.net :

  • Class Name
  • Age group
  • Class Description, including specific requirements, basic class description of class, any fees included, homework assignments, etc.)

Many ask what classes we need.  Below you will find a list of what classes we have so far and also a list of some classes we would like to add.  If you have a class in mind to teach that is not in one of the categories below feel free email your ideas.  This is a guideline of what we would like to offer; it is not an exclusive list.

Classes for which we currently have teachers:

Lower Elementary:

  • Yankee Doodle
  • Beginning ASL
  • Phonics class
  • PE1

Middle Elementary:

  • American Girl class
  • Intro. to Music
  • PE2

Jr. High:

  • Geography of the Promised Land
  • Vocab/Grammar
  • ASL
  • Fundamentals of Math
  • Pre-Algebra

8th-9th graders:

  • Physical Science
  • Algebra 1

High School:

  • Art Class
  • SAT Math
  • SAT Critical Reading & Writing
  • ASL 101
  • Christian Studies (The Way of the Master)

Looking for Teacher for the following classes/subjects:

Lower Elementary

  • Art
  • Bible
  • Any hands on science type class

Middle Elementary:

  • Science (Earth, Space, Animal)
  • History (possibly appealing to boys to run opposite American Girl)
  • Grammar/Vocab/Spelling
  • Art
  • Bible

Jr. High:

  • World or US History
  • Writing (Essay or Creative)
  • Literature
  • Art

Highschool:

  • Geometry
  • Algebra II
  • Biology
  • US History(have curriculum available)

If you are willing to teach in a certain area, but need guidance in curriculum choices please ask.  We have some ready to go curriculum we can share for co op use.

Mission Statement

Living Water Home Educators is composed of homeschool families in Burlington County, NJ and surrounding areas who come together to support one another. Each family that homeschools is an independent, private school that has the freedom to install the beliefs and values that we, the parents, feel are most important to our children. Since this group is not affiliated with any one particular church, we feel it is important for you to know where the leadership of this group stands so that you can feel comfortable participating in the activities and events we offer.
