 LW Leadership Faith Statement
The Holy Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God and contains His completed and final revelation to man. We do not endorse or encourage the use of any teaching that conflicts with what is contained in God’s Word. The Bible, in its original form, is without error in its entirety. The Word of God has been and will remain the ultimate authority as we seek His wisdom in representing His group in a way that honors and magnifies the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

LWE Registration FAQs

Living Water Enrichment (LWE) registration begins Monday, November 17th.   Please follow instructions that are found on this website.   We’ve been receiving some questions regarding registration and listed them below in case others had the same questions.

Where do I get the forms to register?
Go to www.lwhe.org.   When you click on the LWE tab you will find all the forms there.

When can we start re-registration?
We will have a box at LWE on November 17th.  Please make sure you bring your completed form & check in an ENVELOPE.

When is it done?
Your part of registration is done when you hand in your completed form & check.

To whom do I give my check?
Your check will stay in an envelope with your enrollment form.

How will you know when a class is full?
We will be numbering the forms as they come in, so we can keep track of the order of those registering.  The teachers will be notified if a class is full, it will be marked on the website and we will notify all those after the cut off that they will be on the waiting list for a class.

Do I need to register if my child is in a class that is continuing?
Yes!  Everyone taking a class needs to register.

IMPORTANT! Please remember to maintain a copy of your class choices for each of your children, so you remember what classes they are signed up for!

Bonfire Party & Coat Drive POSTPONED

Last year's bonfire party had to be postponed due to the severe drought and burning restrictions.  This year, the bonfire party has to be postponed due to the impending winds and thunderstorms in this afternoon and evening forecasts.  The new date for the Living Water Bonfire Party & Coat Drive is Saturday, November 29th, from 5:00pm - 9:00pm.  This date also happens to fall on Thanksgiving weekend so anyone who RSVP'd to today's event but cannot attend on the 29th, OR, if you have not yet RSVP'd but would like to attend on the 29th, please email Irene Taschek at itaschek@comcast.net.  If you cannot make it but would still like to donate any coats you've collected, please email Irene to make arrangements for drop-off/pick-up.

Let's hope the 29th brings better weather!

Date:   Friday, December 5th
Time:   7:00pm - 9:30pm
Place:  Tom and Tracee Mauchly Residence, 4 Campbell Court, Tabernacle

This is one of the youth's favorite get together times.  Ton of great food + ton of great fellowship = Tons of Fun!

Dress:   Semi-dressy.  Jeans?  O.K., but only nice ones (no raggedy tag jeans, please) and no sweats

Bring:

  • A wrapped gift worth $5-10, and a winning smile.   Don't put your name on the gift.  Can be a silly gift or a practical one...try to stay away from candy bars.  Use your imagination.  Please have it be appropriate for a male or female recipient.
  • For the Christmas Cookie Exchange bring two dozen of your favorite cookies to share.

You will have dinner, play the Gift Game, and hang out with other crazy teens.  If you can attend, contact us no later then December 2nd, so we can purchase the food!  RSVP to hurstnj@comcast.net.

H20 Hershey Hunt Success!

Our middle schoolers sure know how to have a good time and this was abundantly clear at the Hershey Hunt charades night at the Laberee home on Monday night, November 10th.

Over 30 middle schoolers showed up to scramble around outside in search of a Hershey bar with a charade attached.  They gleefully gobbled up the chocolate while carefully planning the perfect execution of their charade.  Highlights include:

  • VJ DiStefano's best impersonation of Buzz Lightyear
  • Imani Sanders' split second High School Musical dance
  • Team "Plain M&M's" reaction to Alex McBride's awesome display of Sumo Wrestling.
  • Jonah Gindhart and his frighteningly realistic portrayal of "vomit"!
  • The secret weapon of Kate Stransky with her incredible guessing ability for team "Peanut M&Ms".
  • Kelly DiStefano's  impressive vocabulary - earning her team points, although no cash despite using many 50 cent words.  That girl is ready for the SAT vocab section!
  • Abi Lambert's graceful ballet performance (although we were really hoping a guy would pick that card!).
  • David DeBenedictis with his sudden death tie breaker - "wedding", earning his team first in line for pizza!

Mr. Young's heroic personal delivery of 10 pizzas was matched only by Mrs. Young's remarkable skills as a Master of Ceremonies!

After charades and pizza, the kids shot pool, played chicken on a righteous zipline, and did not want to leave.

H2O is a social club for middle school students in Living Water.  In January we have a rock-climbing night planned at Vertical Reality.  Stay tuned for more details!

Spelling Bee Q&A

Do you like Philly Soft Pretzels?   Can you spell 'tundra'?

Then please come to Room 3 on the first floor at Living Water Enrichment (LWE) at Easton on Monday, November 17th.  At 12:15 pm - during co-op lunch hour - some homeschool teens from Sovereign Grace are going to do a Q & A session on the spelling bee AND do a few practice runs!

This sounds like fun!  I hope that you will be there to learn more about the ENOCH spelling bee and find out how you can be part of it!

You don't have to spell like a National champ to participate in this and I think you will discover that it is a very manageable commitment.   Come to hear more on November 17th at Easton Bible Church at 12:15 pm!

An ENOCH Thank You

Many, many thanks to the ladies who spent Wednesday evening stuffing envelopes for ENOCH of NJ.  Please know that the job would have been overwhelming without you.  Although stuffing envelopes is not a favorite pastime of mine, I always enjoy our fellowship and conversation.  For the ladies who helped, as you walk around the Exhibit Hall at the ENOCH Convention this year, you may see Exhibitors that came as a direct result of the mailing you helped with!

Gratefully,
Sue August
