 LW Leadership Faith Statement
The Holy Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God and contains His completed and final revelation to man. We do not endorse or encourage the use of any teaching that conflicts with what is contained in God’s Word. The Bible, in its original form, is without error in its entirety. The Word of God has been and will remain the ultimate authority as we seek His wisdom in representing His group in a way that honors and magnifies the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

LW Mission Statement
Living Water Home Educators is composed of homeschool families in Burlington County, NJ and surrounding areas who come together to support one another.  Each family that homeschools is an independent, private school that has the freedom to install the beliefs and values that we, the parents, feel are most important to our children.  Since this group is not affiliated with any one particular church, we feel it is important for you to know where the leadership of this group stands so that you can feel comfortable participating in the activities and events we offer.

Please be advised that any activities that are advertised in the Living Water Weekly eNews or website may not necessarily be activities that conform to Living Water's Faith Statement (see above).  Members should not make any assumptions about the teachings or content that may be provided at these activities and should exercise due diligence before deciding to participate.  These include activities that are considered as "outside interest" as well as those activities (including field trips) that are organized exclusively for Living Water members.

Hey everyone! 

Wow! The Annual Living Water Thanksgiving Feast is in one week! It's amazing how quickly time flies!

– The time and place is set: Monday, November 24th at 11:00am at Easton Bible Church in Hainesport!

 – The participants are registered!

 – Crafts have been ordered!

 – Table cloths have been ordered!

All we need now is FOOD! Click here for the most current food list.  If you have not already done so, please indicate which 2-3 food items you will be bringing to the feast.  We are expecting upwards of 150 people to feed!  Email your choices to Angie Taylor at taylorseven@verizon.net. She and Pam Jones will be coordinating the food for the feast. 

If any recent members have not yet signed up but would like to, please email me directly at gtafam@juno.com.

Time is of the utmost importance at this point and we thank you all for your quick responses!

Here is a listing of the 37 families signed up for the feast (did I miss anyone?):

And please don't forget your donations for the food drive!  There will be a designated drop off area at the Thanksgiving Feast...just look for the signs!  All donations will be delivered to the South Jersey Food Bank. For questions about the food drive email Irene Taschek at itaschek@comcast.net.

Food items most needed include:

• Tuna & Other Canned Meat
• Peanut Butter
• Chunky Soups & Beef Stew
• Macaroni & Cheese
• Spaghetti & Sauce
• Rice, and Dry & Canned Beans
• Canned Vegetables & Fruits
• Powdered Milk
• 100% Fruit Juice (Cans, Bottles, Boxes)
• “Sugar Free,” “Low Sodium,” & “No Salt”
• Puddings & Custards
• Infant formula

We’ll also accept personal care items that are most needed:

• Shampoo, Toothpaste, Toothbrushes
• Diapers, Detergent, Deodorant
• Shaving Cream, Razors, Hairbrushes
• Paper products

PLEASE NOTE: Perishables, expired, unlabeled or opened packages cannot be accepted.

P.S.  The Living Water Leaders would like to also share the following bookfair voucher for use at any Barnes & Noble retail bookstore this coming Wednesday, November 19th, only.  When presenting this voucher at time of purchase, Education Network of Christian Homeschoolers (ENOCH) of NJ will receive a percentage of the net sales as a donation, which will in turn help fund the Annual ENOCH of NJ Homeschool Convention (scheduled for May 29th-30th of 2009).  Please consider using this voucher during your Barnes & Nobles purchases this Wednesday!  And feel free to visit ENOCH of NJ's website www.enochnj.org for the latest convention news!
